Its been a while since we last featured a watch as a full Watchscape, so with the recent interest we saw in the A Lange & Söhne Richard Lange Pour le Mérite, we thought we’d share some wallpapers with you.

Few words, just photographs. These photographs were shot as a set in the Lange showroom in Glashütte circa 2010 as part of a book project by the author entitled A Lange & Söhne: The Pour le Mérite Collection. The book was published in 2011. Limited quantities of the book is still avaiable. Please see details here.

The Richard Lange Pour le Merite is one of four watches in the collection, and the only one to feature an enamel dial as well as the only one not to have a tourbillon regulator.

Note the apertures on the plate to show the fusée-and-chain which is the characteristic of the Pour le Mérite series. The Richard Lange Pour le Mérite is the only watch in the series that does NOT feature a tourbillon.
