Feliz Navidad! Are you cracking your brains over what presents to buy for a friend who is interested in horology this Christmas? Fret not, as I will be sharing some gift ideas for your watch-crazed mates!

The Sinn U1-D. You will never go wrong with this watch, if your friend loves partaking in sports activities.
If your mate loves sports, the Sinn U1 may be the perfect present for him/ her! With a water resistance of 1000m, as well as an extremely hardy case, the Sinn U1 is rugged enough to take on any endeavors that one may be partaking in. 2) Buben-Zorweg Revolution 8
Who says that watch winders are boring? Take a look at Buben-Zorweg’s Revolution 8!
Buben-Zorweg is certainly one of the best watch-winder makers out there, and the Revolution 8 is one of my favorite among their offerings. The finishing and the quality of the winder is simply amazing. At S$20,865, this is certainly going to bring a big smile onto your friend’s face.
3) JLC Atmos Clock, Atmos Re-edition 1934
The JLC Atmos Clock, Re-edition 1934.The Atmos Clock is rather unique; it derives its energy from the changes in the ambient temperature. Featuring the JLC Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm in the foreground.
The Atmos Clock by JLC is rather curious; the idea behind the derivation of power source to function the watch is simply brilliant. Using the difference of the ambient temperature, the mixture of liquid and gaseous ethyl chloride either expands or contracts (which compresses or depresses a spring inside the chamber) and thus winding the mainspring of the watch. This Re-edition 1934 version retails at €19,900, including 19% VAT (approximately S$32,444).
4) Santos de Cartier Cufflinks
This pair of Santos de Cartier Cufflinks are made from sterling silver, finished with palladium, and completed with black lacquer.
If your friend owns a Cartier timepiece, especially from the Santos collection, then this pair of cufflinks will be the perfect present for him to match with his shirt. The iconic design, derived from the Cartier Santos timepiece, will add a subtle but elegant touch to cuffs of the shirt. This pair of cufflinks retails at S$1,040.
