2015 marks the 200th birthday of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, the founder of A. Lange & Söhne. For Watches and Wonders 2015, four special timepieces will be presented. One of these is the new A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph Boutique Edition.
The new white gold model features a lovely argenté-coloured dial contrasted by blue dial elements. A. Lange & Söhne has gone with the dial from the first iteration of the 1815 Chronograph, which featured a pulsometer scale graduated to 30 pulsations. We quite like the look of the pulsometer scale with its lovely blue hue! The case is 39.5 millimetres in diameter.

To complement the dial, the gold hour and minute hands have been rhodium plated. The hands for the minute counter, running subsidiary seconds and the chronograph seconds are steel and have been flamed blue to accentuate the blue markings on the dial.
The movement is the calibre L951.5, featuring a flyback chronograph and precise jumping minute counter. This is the same movement found in the regular 1815 chronograph.
