The Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Manufacture was introduced in 2014 with an in house movement featuring silicon parts and a 42mm case. For 2015 the Dual Time Manufacture collection receives two new dials.
As its name suggests the Dual Time Manufacture allows for the user to track 2 timezones simultaneously. The big date is located the 2 o’clock position, the 2nd timezone (Home Time) window is located at 9 o’clock and the running seconds at the 6 o’clock position. The hour hand can easily be aligned with local time, either forward or backward. This is achieved simply by pressing the (+) or (-) pushers positioned at 10 o’clock and 8 o’clock, without having to remove the watch from the wrist or interrupting its timekeeping. This is housed in a 42mm 18 ct rose gold case.
Now onto the dials. The first dial draws on the theme of the sea and has a very nautical feel to it. Apart from the blue colour, a geometric rope motif is printed across the dial. Even though the case is 18 ct rose gold, this dial gives the watch a sporty feel. The hour markers are gold and arrow shaped providing another level of contrast to the dial. The sword shaped hour and minute hands complete the look.

The second dial is more classical looking with its ivory colour and is accented by the Roman Numerals for the number 12 at the top of the dial. This version has slimmer hands for the hour and minutes and baton like markers for the hours.

These two watches are powered by the Manufacture caliber UN-334. It features a 48-hour power reserve, it is equipped with a silicon anchor, escape wheel and roller. The 4 Hz oscillator also has a patented 1.1.1. silicon balance spring. The self-winding movement, is viewable through the sapphire caseback.
