The Franck Muller Vanguard World Timer GMT.

World Timers are popular in these days of globe trotting, and a watch which simplifies the life of a traveler is always a welcome. Franck Muller’s new piece strings together the classical features of a world timer in the Vanguard case. Twenty-four cities are displayed on the world timer. The dial has three distinct sections, the center of the dial is sunray brushed, and adorned with the world map. The map is worked in order to create relief, highlighting each country. The dial displays the GMT time with day/night on chapter ring closest to the center. Further out, is a chapter ring with 24 cities indicated, and a timezone hand indicating time there. And the outer edge shows the local time.

The movement is automatic mechanical movement with 42 hours of power reserve, 28 800 vibrations / hour, 170 components, 23 jewels, in a two tone 18k rose gold and SS case measuring width 53.70 mm x Length 44 mm x Height 14.50 mm.
