Longines celebrates its 185th anniversary in Singapore with an exhibition that retraces the 185 years history of the brand that sports the winged hourglass, from 1832 to today. In the 185th anniversary exhibition, visitors can discover the various vintage watch models and timing devices, as well as a range of exceptional photographs, posters, films and archive records.

The Longines 185th anniversary exhibition is available for public viewing from 17 – 22 Oct at Marina Square – Central Atrium before travelling to VivoCity – Central Court A from 14 – 19 Nov.

Over the years, the Longines logo has changed, as has the company, always striving to improve.

The exhibition promises to showcase interesting watches from the Longines historical vault. Here are some of the interesting watches which will be on display:

The legendary Longines 13ZN Flyback Chronograph made even rarer and more desirable with the co-branding with Turler. This is an oversized pink gold 18K case: 38,5mm excl. original crown. The original dial is one of the cleanest and most beautiful designs. With applied pink-gold indexes and hands. Sold circa 1948 by Turler Zurich in Switzerland. Probably the nicest gold 13ZN you’ll ever see!

A pocket stop watch.

Left is the Longines Siderograph. With external control unit, 2/3 mainplate, split-seconds chronograph, fine adjusting device, glucydur balance and glucydur lever, silvered dial, original hands. Very exact and special Longines watch for astronomic navigation with degree graduation.
