This year, Sincere Fine Watches is delighted to kick start their mono brand series of the well received “100” exhibition with 100 Masterpieces from German watchmaking powerhouse A. Lange & Söhne.
For the last 4 years, Sincere Fine Watches has not only introduced but also successfully reinvented the concept of “100” to the industry.
The inaugural edition of the “100” exhibition was first launched in 2013 with a showcase of 100 Tourbillons, a world first that featured 21 of the finest and most innovative watch brands. It paid tribute to one of the greatest and oldest horological inventions created, one that continues to fascinate and inspire watchmakers and collectors today. The success of the 100 Tourbillons was followed by 100 Complications in 2015, where 22 established and top independent brands were gathered to showcase very best of haute horlogerie through an array of the best and most unique complications.
For a period of two weeks from 12 to 25 October 2017, the Sincere Fine Watches flagship boutique at Takashimaya S.C. will exhibit exclusive pieces from Germany’s most distinguished name in precision watchmaking.
This world first showcase will gather a never-seen-before 100 watches from A. Lange & Söhne, including old pocket watches from the brand’s archives, the first 4 wristwatches created in 1994, when the brand was re-established, their latest 2017 debuts as well as timepieces from each of their product families.
After a glorious comeback in the 1990s, Lange has changed the world of precision watchmaking dramatically. Crafting only a few thousand wristwatches in gold or platinum per year, they are endowed exclusively with proprietary movements, lavishly decorated and assembled by hand. In a period of a little more than 20 years, A. Lange & Söhne secured a top-tier position among the world’s finest watch brands.
The 100 Masterpieces exhibition is the quintessential demonstration of the pinnacle of fine watchmaking.
