H. Moser & Cie. is known for their elegant dress watches which includes their fantastic instantaneous perpetual calendar.  H. Moser & Cie. has decided to produce a line of sport watches.  Introducing the H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds, the first sports watch in the H. Moser & Cie. collection.  This new model also contains another first for the company which is a rubber strap.

The company is presenting three versions of the Pioneer Centre Seconds: an argenté dial or fumé dial, available in red-gold fumé or ardoise fumé.  The 42.8 mm case is made from 18-carat red gold black DLC-treated titanium.

The Black DLC-treated titanium inserts in the 18 carat red gold case provide an interesting contrast to the watch.  The crown of the watch also in Black DLC-treated titanium is  adorned with the M.

For the first time the partially skeletonised leaf shaped hands features Superluminova® for enhanced night time legibility.  In addition to the hands, luminous dots have been placed for every hour on the inner flange.  To enhance its sport watch credentials the watch is water resistant to 120 metres.

To power the Pioneer Centre Seconds, H. Moser & Cie. has developed a new automatic movement. Equipped with a bi-directional pawl winding system, the watch guarantees a minimum power  reserve of 3 days. Finished traditionally and decorated with Moser stripes, the HMC 230 calibre has been accentuated with a black treatment, for a sporty look, and red-gold elements to match the case: the rotor includes an elegantly engraved H. Moser company hallmark which shines in red gold.

We think that the new Pioneer Centre Seconds is a great addition to the Moser collection and looks quite nice.  We look forward to seeing future dial and case material combinations.

The H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds will retail for $22,900 US Dollars
