The watch uses the automatic El Primero 400B, a high beat movement with 50 hours power reserve. The 42 mm case is in stainless steel and measures 12.75 mm thick. It uses a domed sapphire crystal with double sided anti-reflective treatment and comes also with an see-through case back. The reinterpreted dial looks very much like a cote-de-geneve finishing but on the dial side, and has an interesting colour combination of anthracite with the tricolour subdials.
The watch is fit with an anthracite dial with “Brushed Engine” pattern and 3 colored counters.
The El Primero Classic Car comes with a perforated brown calfskin leather strap with protective rubber lining and a stainless steel triple folding clasp. A reinterpreted tradition, the piece is certainly set to raise the brows of purists and race the hearts of sports watch fans.
