MB&F Lauch of the HMX June 3
The highly anticipated launch if the HMX by MB&F took place in Singapore. A collector dinner was held on June 2, and a Press Lunch on June 3.

We covered a full, hands on review of the HMX in detail here. As the article was published on June 2, we had the opportunity to discuss the analysis with Max Büsser. He told the editor that he had suspected a review like ours would appear amongst the others who were just hailing a new MB&F. He found our analysis hard nosed, critical and encouraged us to keep at the edge and continue to look at MB&F with a critical eye, lest they become mainstream. Chapeau Max for taking it well, as we intended well!
Audemars Piguet Pride of Indonesia Launch June 4
Audemars Piguet in collaboration with Time International held the official launch party for the latest of AP Pride series, Pride of Indonesia. The event was held at Museum Nasional and was hosted by none other than Olivero Botinelli.

The event attendee include some of Indonesia’s known collectors and they participated in an auction to sell the first piece from 100 editions of Pride of Indonesia. The winning bid was approximately SGD 100,000. Proceeds will benefit the Museum Nasional in its effort to preserve Indonesian archeological artifacts and heritage.
It was a fantastic launch event where AP enthusiasts can actually also see the whole range of Royal Oak Offshore including the first edition from 1993. This event together with the Pride of Indonesia will create a stronger bond between Audemars Piguet and Indonesian collectors into the foreseeable future
Jaeger LeCoultre Kit Chan concert June 12
On June 12 some Singapore based collectors and enthusiasts were treated to a wonderful concert by Singapore songbird Kit Chan. Kit is a Jaeger LeCoultre Ambassador, and of course she wore a JLC on stage. Spot it if you can….:-)

The concert, entitled Spellbound, had the full house audience doing just that. Kit was her best, coaxing, joking and teasing the audience. And her voice was in excellent form. Thanks to Jaeger LeCoultre for the invitations.
